Since 1979, Sedes has been a point of reference in the field of electrical heating elements

Mr. De Luca brought his dream to life by founding a company constantly oriented towards the design of new heating solutions for multiple applications. The challenges led the De Luca family to invest in the company by creating diversified production lines to offer technological and timely solutions in order to satisfy customer requests. In 2001, twenty years after its foundation, the company's international attitude led to the acquisition of a branch in Brazil, Sedes Elbac. In 2023 the group expands further, inaugurating a new production site in Italy. Today we are present on a global level with three factories, between Oderzo, in the province of Treviso and the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, offering ten product lines and operating with over 200 employees from all over the world. We are always looking for growth opportunities and dedicate ourselves daily to the design of innovative technologies.

Our path

Here are the key stages of our history, from 1979 to today, thanks to which the Sedes Group has established itself in Europe and around the world, always maintaining the values of family business and Made in Italy.

1979

We present the first product line: heating cables

1989

The second product line is born: etched foil

1993

We achieve the VDE certification

1995

A new product line is added: sheathed tubular electric heating elements

1996

We obtain the ISO 9002 certificate

2001

We acquire Sedes Elbac: we inaugurate the headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil

2002

We offer a new product line: the constant power heating cable

2004

The product lines are enriched by the self-regulating PTC cartridges

2005

We achieve the UL certification for etched foil silicone

2009

We design a new product line: immersion heating elements

2011

Our gaze at the future becomes real: we install photovoltaic panels in the Italian headquarters

2013

We receive the Green Blue Energy Award for our investment in renewable energies and CO3 saving

2014

Our E-shop site is online

2015

We obtain the extension of the UL certification for flexible heating elements

We implement the catalogue: it now includes finned sheathed heating elements and heat exchangers

We celebrate an important milestone: our first 40 years of activity
